The name, Impressionists, derives from Monet’s work Impression, Sunrise. Impressionism, since, became a 19th-century art movement. The Impressionists are particularly concerned with exploring subtle changes in - light and color in nature.
Impression, Sunrise, Interpretation of Impressionist View of Le Havre Harbor, Monet's hometown, was shown at "Exhibition of the Impressionists" in April 1874.
